Start a design in the Jacquard CAD Studio
A free Dusrawork account includes monthly usage credits — design, simulate and export without a subscription. What used to need a CAD-native desktop install and years of experience with channel separation now runs in your browser, with the math (gama, threshold, dithering) handled for you and every step inspectable.
What the studio does
- CMYK channel separation of any uploaded artwork, with per-channel gamma, contrast, threshold and dithering controls
- Per-channel weave assignment (dark/light structures per colour), or automatic matched weave pairs
- Float auditing and float protection — long floats are flagged and bound before export, per yarn system
- 3D fabric simulation with yarn shading depth, brightness and realistic distortion preview
- Full loom-ready export package: 1-bit BMP per channel plus supporting reference sheets
- Everything autosaves — an unsaved session is recovered on your next visit
The workflow, end to end
- Upload the artwork and set EPI/PPI yarn density for the target fabric.
- Tune each CMYK channel, assign dark and light weave structures, keep float length inside the loom's limit.
- Export the loom-ready BMP package — one file per channel, ready for the electronic jacquard machine.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need CAD software installed to design Jacquard?
No. The studio runs entirely in your browser — upload artwork, tune the conversion, and export the loom package without installing anything.
What is included in the export package?
One 1-bit BMP per separated channel sized to the loom repeat, plus reference previews. The exact contents are listed in the export dialog before credits are spent.
What if my browser crashes mid-design?
Your studio settings and artwork are autosaved continuously. When you come back, a recovery card offers to restore the unsaved session.
